Forestry and Natural Resource sights of interest on the Juneau Road System

Come prepared with boots and rain gear.  There will be a short, uphill hike to look at one of the field sites.

Meeting Location and Lodging

The meeting will be held at the Travelodge by Wyndham (907-789-9700) located within easy walking distance of the Juneau Airport.  There is a full-service Mexican restaurant located on the property and several other places to eat within easy walking distance.  A downtown shuttle is available for those interested in visiting Juneau’s many shops, eateries, bars and art studios all situated in one of the most vibrant visitor districts in Alaska.

Reduced rate lodging is available by calling and asking for the “Corporate Rate”. The reduced rate for a standard room is $120. Rates are subject to state and local taxes.

  • Refular registration: $150 (includes all indoor sessions, icebreaker (no-host bar) and all meals on Friday including the banquet. Field trip not included.)
  • Field trip registration: $40 (Includes ground transportation and lunch.)
  • Student registration : $95 (includes all indoor sessions, icebreaker and all meals on Friday including the banquet. Field trip not included.)
  • Extra Banquet Ticket for guest: $50
