Day 3 - Saturday, April 14 All-Day Field Trip to Nenana Ridge including Bonanza Creek Experimental Forest, Portions of the Tanana Valley State Forest and other spots of interest.

8:30am  Depart Pike's Waterfront Lodge Lobby to Bonanza Creek, Bring warm clothes and footgear for walking in snow

9:30 - 2:30     Site visit to various silvicultural demonstration sites, current logging units and research sites.

3:30pm  Approximate return time to hotel

The 2018 Alaska Society of American Foresters Annual Meeting on April 12-14 will be held at Pike’s Waterfront Lodge, 1850 Hoselton Drive, in Fairbanks. The hotel is located between the airport and town. Reduced rate lodging of $69 per night (plus tax) is available at Pike’s by calling 907-456-4500 or 877-774-2400 (toll free) or email gm@pikeslodge.com.
